If you’ve ever admired the effortless cool of Japanese summer style, chances are you’ve come across the jinbei (甚平). Alternately Jinbē (甚兵衛) or Hippari (ひっぱり), this traditional two-piece set comprising a side-tied short-sleeved top and matching shorts is the go-to loungewear for warm weather in Japan.
