Delivery Information

Standard Delivery Charges per Order:

Thank you for considering Tom Dick and Harry as your supplier.  We know that you’ll be excited to open the parcel, so we aim to deliver as promptly as possible.  The information below will give you a guide to your delivery options.  If you are in any doubt which is the best option, please call us on 020 3371 7716 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm UK time).

The vast majority of the available products on our website are in stock and ready for despatch, and are marked on the product pages and in the shopping basket as “In Stock” or “Low Stock”. 

Items which are temporarily out of stock, but are expected within a week are marked on the product pages and in the shopping basket “Shipping in 5-7 Days”.   These are generally shipped within 7 working days.  If there is an anticipated delay in completing your order of more than 7 days, we will inform you as soon as possible.  You will have the option to change or cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Our website will initially show you delivery options relevant to your current location.  Once you confirm the delivery location, these options may change.  For example, if you are ordering from the USA for delivery in the UK, only the prices and options relevant to UK deliveries will be shown (and vice versa).

Options for United Kingdom, Isle of Man & Channel Islands:

FREE DELIVERY

Items in stock are generally delivered via Royal Mail Tracked 48 in 2-4 days.  Please note:  Return postage is at your cost if choosing our Free Delivery Option. This not a guaranteed service and most orders do not require a signature.  You may designate a safe place or neighbour in case you are out, but this is subject to your local postman’s discretion.  If the item is too large to fit through a postbox, and there is no safe place, the parcel will go to your local Royal Mail delivery office.  You may collect it from there or ask for re-delivery to your address.

STANDARD DELIVERY £5 + FREE RETURNS

Items in stock delivered via Royal Mail Tracked 24 in 1-2 days.  Returns are FREE with this option.  This is not a guaranteed service, but you may designate a Safeplace or Neighbour in case you are out.  If Royal Mail are unable to delivery, the parcel will go to your local Royal Mail delivery office.  You may collect it from there or ask for a re-delivery to your address (this can be done online at Royal Mail).

EXPEDITED DELIVERY – From £9.95 per order + FREE RETURNS

Delivery by Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm Next Working Day, subject to service availability and delivery location.  Some geographical exclusions apply.  Please note:  The order cut-off time is 2pm.  Orders received after 2pm will be processed the following day.  Orders received by 2pm Friday will be delivered on Monday, orders received after 2pm Friday or any time on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Other Delivery Options

Special Delivery before 9am, Delivery on a specific date, Saturday Delivery etc., can be arranged by calling our customer service team. Please call 020 3371 7716.

Please note: Next Day Delivery is limited to items in stock, and subject to the courier’s/Royal Mail’s published service schedule. Please scroll down for details of postcodes excluded from the Next Day Guarantee. In case of severe weather disruption, Royal Mail may withdraw the service guarantee, in which case no refund of carriage charges is available for orders delivered late. As we approach Christmas, please be mindful that this is a period of extreme stress for the courier companies and delivery schedules may not run entirely smoothly! Please order as early as possible.

EU, Europe, USA & Rest of the World

EU

We ship EU VAT PAID for delay-free delivery (IOSS).  There is nothing more to pay on delivery.  Dispatched via Tracked Airmail – from £12 per order.  Courier delivery option available.  Full shipping costs show in your basket or at the checkout.

USA

Most order values fall below personal postal import thresholds for the USA, so no duty is payable, but please be aware that you may be liable for any local taxes or duties that may be raised by US Customs authorities. Shipping costs from £12 per order – exact cost will be shown in your shopping basket. Courier delivery is also available.

Other Countries

Including Canada and Australia – You are liable for any local taxes or duties that may be raised by your local Customs authorities. Normally you will have to pay duties and taxes locally before the goods are released to you.
Dispatched via Tracked & Signed For Airmail – from £12 per order.

Items in stock are dispatched within 48 hours, and delivered via the postal system. Orders are sent International Tracked. Delivery time to the EU is approximately 4 days, but this is not a guaranteed service. Delivery time to the USA and the rest of Europe is 10 to 14 days on average, but may be delayed due to security checks. This is outside our control.

Other Delivery Options:

  • International Air Courier – From £24 per order.
  • We are happy to arrange courier delivery to any location and can supply a quote to you by return. We will set up an individual shipping option for your basket

Goods Lost In Transit

You must inform us within three working days if the goods are damaged in transit. If you are concerned that goods have been lost in transit, please email or telephone +44 (0)20 3371 7716, and we will trace or replace your goods as necessary.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

The UK Next Day service to the following postcodes is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and is subject to their published delivery schedules.
