This navy and white pinstripe Sumo size yukata kimono robe oozes sophistication and understated elegance: The classic narrow pinstripe creates the illusion of one colour at a distance and on closer inspection, the navy and white stripes appear.
Measuring 150cm/59” from nape to hem, with a generous wrap of 160cm/62” at the waist, this ankle length, large-size yukata kimono makes the perfect dressing-gown robe with a dash of individuality. Please note that the last photo is of our regular size ‘happi’ fine stripe kimono which is shorter by design, and is included as a reference. Unlike the happi, this plus size design is ankle length.
Made from 100% lightweight woven cotton, the kimono is machine washable at low temperatures, has traditional yukata pockets within the 3/4 length sleeves and is delivered with a matching 206cm narrow (koshihimo) belt; as is customary with this type of robe, there are no belt loops.
For an authentic Japanese look, add a wider red or navy Obi (sash) belt.
