This genuine yakuta kimono has a navy and gold abstract cloud design on a navy background. Printed on a plain weave cotton the robe is suitable for wear throughout the year. The classic kimono cut has a deep sleeve with an 18″ wide cuff. The body is 52″ wide and the cuff to cuff length across the shoulders is 56″. The robe has pockets cleverly incorporated inside the sleeve cuffs.
This kimono is a traditional ankle length robe, measuring 58″/147cm from neck to hem. (Our happi coat kimonos are 45″/114cm). Delivered with 184cm/72″ long tie-belt. As is customary with this type of robe, there are no belt loops.

This is a beautifully made and printed Kimono. I’m 6’3″and it fits perfectly. Its long but rests on my feet and not the floor. Great for the summer months when they finally arrive. Also great for travelling as it rolls up to a small pack and the belt is great for holding it all together (I’ve already done this so I know it works). A very comfortable garment to wear even though its cotton which can sometimes feel a bit dry and cold to the skin. May have to get another in a different design!

I bought the navy cloud yukata for myself. Originally I bought the happi which was too short but changing it for the longer yukata was no problem. The gown is really good quality and well made and arrived beautifully wrapped in tissue paper – very Japanese. I’m impressed! Recommended.
